Starting the Dungeon.
The Dungeon completed.
The Dungeon is the level accessed after completing the Tomb and defeating the mid-game boss. Players must venture through it to reach the Arena. The rooms are roughly linear, and players will constantly move towards the end of the level. However, there are various side rooms that players can explore. These are normally accessed by moving upwards.

Strategies

While previous levels are inhabited mainly by basic enemies such as Skeletons, with simple melee and ranged attacks, the Dungeon sees the introduction of more complex opponents with unique abilities, such as the bomb throwing Bomber.

Hopefully players will have found some good weapons and equipment in previous levels, or in the Big Treasure Chest awarded after defeating the boss. If not, this should be a high priority, with players seeking out chests and Goblin Wares.
