Gameplay

Rampage Knights is a cooperative beat 'em up game, played using a 2D sidescrolling view. Players initially find themselves in The Camp, where they can change options like their class, appearance and difficulty settings.

Combat

From the camp, players must venture to the Enchanted Forest and then to the Dark Castle, which are filled with a variety monsters. Players must fight these, with combat being mainly melee and magic focused. Players have access to a small selection of moves which can be strung together into combos. Along with this, players can dash through enemies, and can knock them to the floor before throwing them (preferable into other enemies), or stomping on them.

Levels

Levels in Rampage Knights are composed of a series of randomly generated rooms. These rooms are in a linear order, meaning that for the most part players are always moving further towards the end of the level. Special side rooms with treasure - or traps - are interspersed throughout, however.

Gear

Whilst venturing through these rooms, players may find gear locked in treasure chests, hidden in crates and other items, on the ground, or by killing enemies. There are a variety of different weapons available, each with different speeds and strengths. Players can also collect throwing weapons, such as Throwing Daggers, potions and food to heal themselves, spells to attack enemies and magic scrolls which grant special effects.

Players can also buy gear from stores - if they find one - using gold collected from enemies and the environment.
